Having graduated USC, Alex Sagalchik began his film career in the talent department of WME. In 2010, after a brief stint at Vogue Magazine, he went on to form his Production Company, Mott Street Pictures, with a focus on auteur driven, elevated filmmaking. Mott Street’s recent producing credits include A24’s current theatrical release and 2015 Sundance Best Director winner, THE WITCH directed by Robert Eggers; and Adam Rapp’s Tribeca comedy, LOITERING WITH INTENT, starring Marisa Tomei and Sam Rockwell. Past credits also include Francesca Gregorini’s 2013 Sundance Competition drama, THE TRUTH ABOUT EMANUEL, starring Kaya Scodelario and Jessica Biel; and Matt Ross’ 28 HOTEL ROOMS, which first premiered at Sundance 2012 and later became the last acquisition by the late Adam Yauch for Oscilloscope Laboratories. Mott Street’s current projects include Chadd Harbold’s SXSW premiere, LONG NIGHTS, SHORT MORNINGS; Oliver Irving’s upcoming Orchard release GHOST TEAM; and Justin Tipping’s Focus Features’ slated KICKS. Q: What is the format of a webinar?

  • It was shorter that I would have liked. While I did get a lot of good info most of it could have been found elsewhere and the presenters answers could have been more in depth.
  • Very weak. Presenter clearly unprepared, fumbled his way around the presentation and then gave opaque, one-sentence answers to the questions asked. "How did you attach Jessica Biel?" "She auditioned. ". Great. Thanks.
