Q: What is the format of a webinar?
A: Stage 32 Next Level Webinars are typically 90-minute educational broadcasts that take place online using a designated software program from Stage 32. Your webinar will be taught by a working industry professional with in-depth teaching on a topic. If you are able to attend live you will be able to ask your Stage 32 Educator questions during Q&A.
Q: What are the system requirements to watch my webinar live?
A: You will need to meet the following system requirements in order to run the webinar software: Windows 7 or later Mac OS X 10.9 (Mavericks) or later.
If you have Windows XP, Windows Vista and Mac OS X 10.9 (Mountain Lion): The webinar software does not support these operating systems. If you are running one of those operating systems, please upgrade now in order to be able to view a live webinar. Upgrade your Windows computer / Upgrade your Mac computer.
Q: What if I cannot attend the live webinar?

Most recently, Spencer has one client's project in the midst of a bidding war between 2 cable networks. His clients have been in films with directors Quentin Tarantino, Steven Soderbergh, Clint Eastwood, Gore Verbinski, and more. In the TV world, his clients have been regular cast members on shows for Netflix, The CW, Cinemax, CBS, NBC, FX, Starz, Nickelodeon, EPIX, TBS and more. Spencer’s clients have also recurred on series for Freeform, TNT, AMC, Showtime and many more. Art/Work's writing clients work in both feature and television and include Eric Heisserer (Academy-Nominated screenplay, ARRIVAL), and writers on shows such as WORKAHOLICS, ARROW, JUSTIFIED. In addition to working with the studios, cable and networks, Spencer has also set up projects at Netflix. Spencer began his career in production and moved into talent management at MBST Entertainment (Woody Allen, Bette Midler, Billy Crystal).

There she actively participated in the development and production of a feature film with Netflix, as well as the packaging and selling of several television series to studios. Bold Films has produced the Oscar-winning film WHIPLASH, as well as NIGHTCRAWLER, VOX LUX with Oscar-winner Natalie Portman. Their latest film THE GUILTY stars Jake Gyllenhaal, Ethan Hawke, and Riley Keough, and will premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival in 2021. Sophia helps both writers and directors tailor project pitches to look for financing. Prior to Bold Films, Sophia worked in representation at Paradigm and Gersh in the Feature/TV Lit Department. Outside of Bold Films, Sophia produces low-budget independent films.

Michael previously worked on films such as LATE NIGHT starring Mindy Kaling, DESTROYER starring Nicole Kidman, Reinaldo Marcus Green's directorial debut MONSTERS AND MEN with John David Washington, BAD EDUCATION starring Hugh Jackman and Allison Janney, and BAD HAIR for Hulu. This week the Writers' Room welcomes in Development Executive Anna Henry into the Pitch Tank! Anna began her 20-year career as a development executive at Nickelodeon, working on the development and production of animated television series, pilots and features. Anna has been a script consultant and screenwriting instructor, as well as building her own slate as an independent producer. Her clients have worked on hit television series on all major networks, such as "THE DEUCE", "POWER", "IN CONTEMPT", "TOMMY", "HUNG", "CHICAGO FIRE", "FEAR THE WALKING DEAD", "THIS IS US", and "THE FLASH". Her clients have worked on shows at virtually every broadcast, cable and streaming television network, and have set up projects at Amazon, Starz, HBO, Sony, Fox, EOne, ITV America, OddLot Entertainment, Corus, and others. Anna enjoys having a close collaboration with writers in refining scripts, expanding their range of material, and finding the best home for each project, which is why she was an incredible guest!
We're diving into the first Writers' Room Pitch Tank of 2021 and welcoming special guest, Literary Manager Audrey Knox of The Cartel to critique members' pitches! Audrey worked her way up from receptionist in 2016 to Manager in 2018. Audrey has experience in both scripted and unscripted television, on set, in production, and in writers’ rooms. She has a BFA in Screenwriting from Chapman University. Prior to joining The Cartel Audrey worked in development at WME and Lighthearted Entertainment and in the literary department at Gersh. Last year, Untitled Entertainment and The Cartel - two huge management companies - joined forces to produce films for television and theatrical release. Both companies continue to look for new scripts from writers that offer "escapism to broad audiences."
