About Beth

I'm a writer with five finished screenplays, all with an emphasis on drama (a suspense drama, a thriller, a romantic comedy/drama, an action drama, and a magical realism drama inspired by a true story). I am also story consultant on another (thriller). I am an associate producer on the TV series "This Is Not Chi-Raq," as well as other projects in development. My law background gives me experience in writing stories for many different voices, and gives me tools to market my work as well as the work of others. As story consultant, I look to enhance a project in development rather than rewrite from scratch - an approach that I appreciate in others as well. I truly enjoy Stage 32! And am glad to be a member.

Unique traits: I am an author, producer and lawyer bringing story to life. I specialize in creative nonfiction and well-researched scripts. As editor/story consultant, I work to enhance the original writer's voice, not co-opt it.
