The Jewel In The Woods
Documentary by Elevate Media Group Writer At only 880 square feet, the Seth Peterson cottage is one of Frank Lloyd Wright's smallest designs, but as Wright's Chief Assistant William Wesley Peters put it, the home contains "more architecture per square foot than any building Wright ever built." The Jewel In the Woods captures the journey of this charming Wright design from a young man's dream of living in a home designed by the legendary architect, to its abandonment and near ruin and to its rebirth under the dedication of a group of volunteers who took charge of restoring this piece of architectural history, returning Wright's Seth Peterson Cottage to once again thrive as a Jewel in the Woods.
