About Susan

My "brand" tagline as a screenwriter is: Stories that Illuminate the Soul. My screenplays explore the energy of love and illuminate the power of the spirit, reaffirming that the heart can endure great challenges, the imagination can heal deep wounds, and the human condition can unite us all.

I've taught screenwriting at DePaul University in Chicago, wrote dozens of screenplays, produced a talk show pilot and developed new business for Resolution Digital Studios in Chicago and for the post production company, Filmworkers in Chicago and Nashville. My writing credits and professional experience include advertising and marketing copy, website content and strategy, fiction, non fiction, and journalism. I've worked with a variety of high profile brands and have developed a brand storytelling process, which is based on the Hero's Journey and the Archetypes.
