Demitra Sealy is a bi-lingual Greek/Hispanic/Australian, professional actress & singer based in the USA. Demitra graduated with a Bachelor of Performance from the Australian Academy of Dramatic Arts in 2014 and has since trained with Playwriting Australia, The Bell Shakespeare Company, The Hub Studio and The Actors Studio NYC, where she was admitted under the Presidents Scholarship.

This year, one of Australia's leading publications, Starcentral Magazine, awarded Demitra 'Actress of the Year' for 2016. She was also nominated for ‘Best Actress’ at Austin Comedy Festival in the US and won the ‘Best Rising Star’ award at Seoul Webfest in Korea for the series ‘First World Relationships'. The ‘Best Rising Star’ award is given to the best actor (both male & female) in the entire festival. When Emma Thompson and Guy Pearce are nominated actors in the festival too, this win became quite an honour for Demitra!

A citizen of the UK, EU, New Zealand, and Australia, Demitra is a woman of the world having visited 13 countries in the last three years, experiencing all the artistic treats along the way. Demitra is also professional singer with over 10 years’ experience, having received the Australian Youth Choirs prestigious Margaret Nibsett scholarship and a martial artist spending 7 hours a week at her Gracie Brazilian Jujitsu dojo.
