About Erick

As Executive Vice President, Digital Networks for Cinedigm (NASDAQ:CIDM), Erick oversees the company’s over-the-top entertainment networks available online, on mobile devices, gaming consoles, and connected TVs. He oversees all development, planning, launch and operations of the company's channels including documentary network Docurama, fandom network CONtv, and the faith & family-centered Dove Channel.

Previously, Erick was SVP of Global Digital, where he oversaw the distribution of Cinedigm's 50,000+ hours of content in the digital ecosystem. He managed multi-platform distribution deals, sales and distribution partnerships, client management, content strategy, development and operations across all distribution channels, including subscription and ad-supported video-on-demand, electronic sell-through, cable TV and IPTV.

Prior to Cinedigm, Erick co-founded and ran the digital aggregation business for New Video, helping the company become the largest aggregator of independent video content in the world. Erick also managed home entertainment releases for A&E Networks and Docurama Films, including over 20 Academy Award-winning and nominated films.

Erick began his career in entertainment at Madstone Theaters/New Yorker Films, a vertically-integrated exhibitor, distributor and digital cinema pioneer, where he held positions in audience services and marketing. He also served as a lead technology trainer and combat medic in the U.S. Army Infantry.

Widely recognized in his field, Erick has been named a Digital Driver five times by Home Media Magazine. He is a frequent moderator and speaker at industry events including the Sundance Film Festival, SxSW, AFM, and Independent Film Week, among others. He is also on the board of Digital Hollywood and a member of the International Academy of Web Television.

Erick received his Bachelor of Arts degree from The University of Texas at Austin and his Master of Business Administration degree from Florida State University.
