Screenwriter for an Animated Family Feature (for ages 5-14 yrs)

In collaboration with Wai Lana Productions, which is a yoga lifestyle company that produces media products, we are currently working on an animated feature film for kids/families and are in need of a screenwriter to assist on this project. 

Wai Lana has already produced an animated 26-minute TV series pilot, but it's geared towards a younger audience. We are wanting to expand it into a feature film catering primarily to 5 - 14 year olds but attractive to the whole family. We have drafted a scene-by-scene outline of our ideas and are looking for a screenwriter to develop the concept and characters into a fun, action adventure story with a deeper message about humility and true friendship. The script needs to capture both humor and drama, seriousness and lightheartedness in the same story.

The writer would be contracted as a work-for hire and be given co-writer credit if we end up hiring you to work with us and write the script.
