What is the process involved in creating and using a stage name? Especially in terms of contracts, sag-aftra, and creating your resume and headshot? And can anyone recommend NYC headshot photographers and acting classes/acting for the camera classes and casting agent seminars? As well as technique books? Thanks for any information.

Hi J. - hopefully people in my network can help you with the stage name questions. As for resources we have tons of great acting education here on Stage 32 that goes over the business, technique and representation taught by some of the top names in the industry - actors, casting directors, managers, etc.: https://www.stage32.com/webinars/tag/acting. I would recommend searching for "headshots" in the lounge and seeing what threads come up. Also, make sure to update your profile here on Stage 32 so people know who you are and what you do. If you have a blank profile it will make it more difficult to network and you will have restricted access to the platform. Keep us posted on your acting journey!
