Have great credits but they’re not showing up on your IMDb? There is good and bad news. Good news: You can get the credit on IMDb yourself. Bad news: It can be a painstaking process. http://tipsforactors.com/how-to-get-imdb-credit/

I always hate how the staff at IMDB have to approve of it before going through ( due to my last name being " Pornovets" , less than likely and I have been told my production put up my imdb credit but I have not seen it up yet so I guess it was rejected =p)
=) funny name. If you really want that credit on your IMDb, then you should consider trying to submit it yourself. A couple possibilities are: 1. The production submitted your credit associated with a new name (this happened to me...I had 3 names on IMDb Giselle Marie I, Giselle Marie II & Giselle Marie III) 2. They submitted the title of the film but not your credit. Try looking for the film on IMDb 1st and see if your credit pops up...if it does, then you would have to edit that credit on the page and wait for them to verify and process the change. =/

Very helpful link above. I've just been patiently (or not patiently) waiting for the production company to do something. Now I have a path that I can push down...

If a film you've done get's submitted to a festival through Withoutabox, credits will show up eventually, though it may take a few weeks. They're also really bad with updates and edits- I've been credited as a Producer on a film called Call Girl, despite it being a London project and currently living in Michigan. Pretty sure I've requested twice for this to be changed. Thank for the manual guide though. I have some short films I wouldn't mind seeing on there.

Giselle, thanks so much for the push. After waiting for the production company for so long, I submitted the title and credit to IMDb myself. Two days later, my first acting credit is posted. Not painstaking at all, ASSUMING you have all the information they need.
Jordan, that's awesome! Feels good to see that credit huh?! =)

Yep!
Well the director told me that she put the credit in as " Chris Pornovets" but nothing showed up. Also when I put my name in the edit section it immidiantly says I am rejected
You need an account with your name on it before it will accept your name for credits. Make sure you have one first.
I do
hmmmm paste the link so I can take a look
