Acting : Weekly Wins by Richard Goss

Richard Goss

Weekly Wins

Hello all! I'd love to hear your 'Weekly Wins' - something positive that's happened to you this week in your acting career. It can be anything from booking a role, auditioning, attending a class or even watching a great movie/play.

Let's hear them!

Alexandra Stevens

Richard Goss thanks for creating space for positive news. For me it's getting excited about working on my vocal quality and a book I plan to start reading called "Freeing the Voice" by Kristin Link later

Juliana Philippi

Amazing to ask this Richard Goss , this week I got an offer to lead in a short film, and news that my feature screenplay “A House for the Flowers” got selected to move forward at the Atlanta Women’s Film Festival, and rule of three lol, I’m just happy with who I am and what I’m here to do: give love and beauty ad an actor, writer, human.

Maurice Vaughan

Congratulations, Alexandra Stevens! I just looked up "Freeing the Voice." It looks like a helpful book for actors and others.

Maurice Vaughan

Jennifer Ford

Hi Richard,

For my Weekly Win, I’d say I’m really proud of the progress I’ve been making on my creative projects. I’ve been diving deeper into writing and developing my ideas for both film and thriller storytelling, and it feels like my craft is growing week by week. Every step, no matter how small, is energizing and motivating.

Maurice Vaughan

Congratulations on the commercial role, Brandon Keeton!

Suzanne Bronson

Hi Richard Goss thank you for putting this up!. I had a very successful week. I have been writing, I am going to start working with my friend who owns a non profit, making commercials for local businesses, and I watched a Stage 32 4 hour lab on auditioning.

Maurice Vaughan

Congratulations on the very successful week, Suzanne Bronson!

Ken Moretti

Best news for me this week: someone that has watched me perform for many years on stage and in film contacted me and asked me to be her acting coach in her blossoming acting career, telling me I would be "key to her next success as an actor"!

Maurice Vaughan

Congratulations on getting asked to be her acting coach, Ken Moretti!

Alexandra Stevens

Woo hoo Suzanne Bronson Celebrating your successful week and commercial making venture. May it bring you the stability you need whilst a way to use your writing skills

Brittany Christine

this may sound silly but I found two shows on Netflix where the female leads are red heads and have been binging those for inspo. Virgin River and Sullivans Crossing. Gonna try a comedy called English teacher on Hulu next

Maurice Vaughan

Congratulations, Brittany Christine! I love watching a show/movie and getting inspiration.

Brandon Keeton

I just did another commercial this past week. Wellspan, a chain of Cancer Hospitals. Easy day on set for a very good paycheck! Can't ask for more than that! Lol!

Maurice Vaughan

Congratulations on another commercial role, Brandon Keeton!

Ashley Renee Smith

I love this, Richard Goss! We should make this a regular post here in the Acting Lounge!

Also, Brittany Christine, I also started watching Sullivan’s Crossing this week. I’ve binged through season 1 and I’m now on season 2. And English Teacher is great!
