As supposed to be according to the standards of Rusty Animator or Animation Mentor, I have been preparing a list of scenes for my new character animation demo reel: - posing - weight - facial animation - lip sync - moving hold - feature film scene with one character - feature film scene with two characters For almost every scene, I intend to include 15-30 second of acting workflow and 15-30 second of polished animation. What do you think of my list of scenes?

Ben Htoo Your list of scenes looks solid and well-balanced, covering key fundamentals like posing, weight, facial animation, and lip sync, while also showcasing more complex scenes with one and two characters. If you’re open to suggestions, adding a pantomime or emotional subtext shot could be a great way to highlight your reel. Overall, it looks like you’re on the right track. Are you leaning more towards a dramatic or comedic tone for your reel?

I am looking forward to seeing your reel. It might be a good idea to keep the total duration to no more than 1-2 minutes though.

For many past days, I had been only prepping the characters' rigging systems for my new character animation demo reel. I will even have to spend many more available days on prepping a library of character poses, live-action footages and exploratory drawings before I can start animating every shot.
While waiting for my new animation demo reel, how about checking out my recent reels?
