Hi everyone! I'm seriously thinking about launching a Patreon to start financing my animated series project. I was wondering if some of you had any experience with Patreon and could share with me some advice.

I just recently launched mine for my podcast, and all I can say it - no matter where you start, it will change. I think what is more important is determining what you can consistently produce right now, so even if no one signs up immediately, you can keep producing. It's the consistency over time that invites participants. Also, you can run time-sensitive campaigns within your Patreon, so really start with your "bread & butter" and you can expand on events later. Oh... and be prepared to launch your marketing a couple of weeks in advance. I discovered I did not have the time to produce the content, market the content, and run the business while also having a day job. Or, I can, provided I only have a monthly release instead of the ideal weekly LOL!
