http://www.animationmagazine.net/vfx/nab-toon-boom-launches-harmony-12-l... I'm kind of happy about this. I have Toon Boom Studio and it's a steep learning curve. If I could draw in it, I don't think it would be nearly as hard to animate in. I mean, I can draw in it, but its very simple. Usually to get the level I of imagery I need for my characters, I draw them in painter and import them into Toon Boom but that... so far hasn't work. I'm happy that they're offering the drawing tools in it that we need to actually take the animation to a higher level. Hurrah! What does anybody else think about that? -G.R.B.
LOL WORKED I wish I could edit this post!
Toon Boom has been a decent processing platform since it launched, so the drawing may fall in line. Have you ever tried TV paint, a lot of animation professional use that for drawing. They have a free trial if you want to check it out. tvpaint.com
I haven't tried TVPaint. I recently purchased Toon Boom Studio and plan on upgrading to Harmony Essentials.
