The setup from the script to the boards is a nice function. A couple of years back at Kidscreen a studio was working on an AI script tool that could identify all characters, scenes, and beats and track arcs of the characters and help break that out into a timeline and spreadsheet for line producers. I'll see if I can track them down...
It was inevitable and continues to evolve. Plus, there are other AI storyboard tools gaining some traction, so now they are getting some serious competition coming on the horizon.
I've used some of those features in the latest Photoshop. Content-aware fill can help with erasing and filling in areas. I noticed they didn't show an example of generating storyboards from screenplay pages, so I don't expect that to be up to snuff in this version.
Mike Boas the impression I got was that it isn't doing the artwork for the storyboards. I could be wrong, but I got the impression, it will lay out how many panels you need and the descriptions of the scenes etc. I get the impression you still have to do the artwork.

Personally, this is how I would love to use AI.

It’s fascinating to see how AI is being integrated into various tools and programs.

I have used LTX studio. I am finding it very useful and user friendly, particularly for live action.
