It’s always exciting to see a new connection request here on Stage 32. But if a huge celebrity suddenly wants to connect with you, it’s best to be cautious. While the idea sounds wonderful, the reality is that it’s almost always a fake account set up for scams.
Scammers know that creatives dream of being noticed by famous names, and they try to exploit that hope. The best response is to stay polite, stay curious—but also stay skeptical. If something feels too good to be true, it usually is.
Stage 32 is full of amazing real people to connect with. Just remember: the real value here is in building genuine, supportive relationships with fellow creatives—not chasing connections that only look glamorous on the surface.
