Awesome movie but I wanna know what made it so successful? was it Tarantino's name, how it's edited, or was it because the dialogue was not constricted with the plot of the movie?
It was/is, will to continue to be, iconic and successful--in financial reward and artistic acclaim--because it was an amazing and ground breaking film. The statistics speak for the film.
Unfortunately, Leon, many a producer wasn't able to figure out the film's X-factor, which is why we got a ton of flicks that were essentially labelled as "Tarantino clones".
If someone else made it instead of Tarantino would it have been still as successful?
