I just joined Slack and had an interesting realization.
You don’t “discover” opportunities there the way you might on LinkedIn. Instead, Slack feels more like a series of private rooms—where the real conversations, collaborations, and last-minute creative needs are already happening behind the scenes.
That got me thinking about how I work.
I’m a songwriter who operates a little differently:
• I write extremely fast (often in minutes)
• I can move across genres without hesitation—soul, punk, country, holiday, and more
• I enjoy working both with wide creative freedom and with very specific constraints
In fast-paced environments—especially where deadlines are tight—that kind of workflow can be surprisingly useful.
So if you’re part of a Slack community where:
• Creative briefs get shared
• Teams need original music quickly
• Or last-minute projects pop up
I’d genuinely appreciate being pointed in the right direction or invited in.
Always happy to collaborate, experiment, and deliver something unique on short notice.
