I used to work on one of those in the '70s (burned out a lot of brain cells sniffing the acetone). That thing belongs in some 'Movie Museum (me too). Good luck with it.
Haha, they actually taught my son on one of them a couple of years ago to make sure film students understood the feel of the film and each frame. Nothing quite like it. Thanks! :-)
I saw one in a Thrift Store a couple of months ago but it wasn't worth the $20 they were asking to me. You got a lot more 'Thrift stores' in LA. I find costumes, props and all sorts of film suitable junk there - I picked up a 128gb class 10, 98mbs card for $1 last week.
There are no schools in the NYC area (that I know of) where the students shoot anything on film. Kaufman would have no use for it, they aren't an editing house. Calling DuArt would be longshot.
I cut on a Steenbeck in the late 90’s in film school. That’s the best way to learn because it forces the student to think twice, cut once. Sadly, the only steenbeck remaining at UT is a display piece. If I had brick & mortar location and deeper pockets for shipping/maintenance, I’d buy it... but I don’t.

It makes a very cool desk for the laptop. But the shipping would kill me.
Yes, I get it. Unless there was a freight company. . . not that big but heavy.
Classic. If it makes it's way to Los Angeles! :)

Thank you to all who have made suggestions! I’m following all the positive ones. I know there is a place for it.
