Happy Thursday All! With Christmas and the Holidays right around the corner, I thought I'd do something a little more Christmas-y themed, if you don't mind! Randy's Celeste (from Cinesamples*). This is the SAME Celeste used in all of John Williams scores designed by John William's Keyboardist, Randy Kerber. Randy first designed this Celeste for the first Harry Potter Trailer recorded at the Sony/MGM stage, and has used it multiple times in JW's scores since. It has a really lovely sound, so if you want to bust out some Nutcracker, Harry Potter or even a little Buddy Holly (Everyday). It's available for both Kontakt and UVI's Workstation (Mach5). You don't need to own UVI to play it back (it comes as a free player version), but you would need to own the full version of Kontakt. http://cinesamples.com/product/randy-s-celeste-for-kontakt Best, Sam *Full disclosure - I used to work for Cinesamples, and even though I did make and code this instrument, I don't get any residuals from it.
Awesome- thanks for posting Sam!
