Filmmaking / Directing : Pilot season by Sandrene Mathews

Hello. I'm a production girl from Nashville who is thinking about spending some time in LA. I'd like to come out during the peak times of pilot season and try to find some work as a day player PA. I know it's difficult to find that kind of work without being out there, is anyone familiar with the timeline of pilot season and can offer advice on the best time to be out there? I already plan on being that way at the end of February but haven't decided if I want to come early or stay later. Thanks!
