"The Backwoods Chronicles" “Justified” meets “Highway to Heaven.” A sarcastic and disenchanted southern pastor battles to overcome his personal demons while confronting supernatural events.
supernatural events is too vague for me, can you be more specific; also is he a leader of townsfolk/his congregation and are they part of the story? He confronts the events but what does he actually do - does he investigate try to stop them, try to stop them, etc.
Revision “Justified” meets “Highway to Heaven”. A sarcastic and disheartened pastor who has given up on his church struggles with personal demons while armed with only a flask of holy water to battle supernatural evils in the south.
slight correction Justified” meets “Highway to Heaven”. A sarcastic and disheartened pastor, who has given up on his church, struggles with personal demons while armed with only a flask of holy water to battle supernatural evils in the south.
Now this concept is interesting. here's my edited version for your consideration: A Southern minister questions his own faith as he battles supernatural evils armed with only a flask of holy water. 20 words versus 32 Have you written this already? Also is he the protector of his congregation or does he go it alone? For a TV show, I'd imagine there are other characters
I have the treatment written for this. There are many other characters to be explored . In this story he has left his church after his divorce and trying to find his way again but God has other plans foe him
I Think this one works best. Thanks Dave "Justified” meets “Highway to Heaven”A Southern minister questions his own faith as he battles supernatural evils armed with only a flask of holy water
