While I'm sorry to hear of this possible idea theft, I am dumbfounded by the success of this show. It's absolutely ridiculous, silly and unconvincing for a show about highly trained intelligence agents. Who knew the formidable FBI is but mere "sexy fun." Had the show sprung from the very people who filed the lawsuit, the creators of the original documentary, perhaps a more authentic and serious portrayal would have been developed. ...I'm more interested in the CNN documentary.

Welcome to network television.

It may be more authentic but would it be entertaining? Obviously the Network thought this program had gratus and went with it. It worked. If the show can keep its momentum up then congrats to them.

Actually I did watch the documentary and certainly found it more interesting and entertaining. Plus, after viewing them both to compare you can see a connection—perhaps they do have a case for idea theft. My reaction to Quantico really is a result of utter weariness and boredom with these shows that play "dress up" with serious institutions and themes. Freshmen dorm dialogue, lame plots, fluffy style and superficial characters... No thanks. I guess entertainment is subjective. :)
