Film mistakes

What is a mistake in a film that you always notice and what would you have done to fix it?

Solid Goddess

For me, it’s always 'empty coffee cup syndrome'—when an actor is carrying a paper cup that is clearly weightless, swinging it around, or pretending to take a sip without any liquid physics. It breaks immersion instantly! To fix it, I always tell production to just fill the cups with water or actual hot coffee. Giving an actor the real physical weight of an object completely changes their posture, their movements, and makes the scene feel authentic.
