A short comedy monologue I wrote. The actor was offered the lead role in a TV sitcom pilot straight after the producer watched this.

Ted Morgan

Great work!! I really enjoyed it.

Karen Buckton

Thank you Ted.

Kaz Drysdale

That was the best and the funniest promo ever! haha. I mean really! LOL :D

I could relate, and really cracked up with laughter as I have my script in hand 'Welcome to China' and told I should have it translated into Mandarin. Grrr! I did the same as you - kinda thought 'stuff it!'. lol WTC is still in English awaiting - groans everyone attached... haha. Clever too, keeping all options open (hope) with your language change (as happens to me) 'The End'. Classic!

So glad you liked it Kaz. With all those new cinemas being built in China I'm starting to wish I could write in Mandarin. Feel free to forward it to your contacts for a laugh (and an increase in viewer numbers). :-)

Kaz Drysdale

Hi Karen, I've not been around but had your presentation on my mind and had to go share on FB. lol And will Tweet it too. You are my new hero actually. Cheers, Kaz :)

Karen Buckton

You are too kind Kaz, but I have had other actors ask me to write monologues for them. I wish you all the best with WTC!
