Introduce Yourself : Between Two Worlds by Jennifer Brenner

Between Two Worlds

Hi, I’m Jennifer Brenner — a registered nurse, mental health advocate, and storyteller living in Los Angeles. I’m currently completing my master’s degree as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner while raising my child and working full-time in healthcare.

My true story, Between Two Worlds, is now available for TV/film adaptation. It follows my real-life journey from a teenage bride in Nigeria to a self-made nurse in America, through a powerful arc of love, betrayal, motherhood, and rebuilding after emotional and financial abuse. I helped launch a multi-million-dollar business for my fiancé — only to be left behind when he secretly built a second life with someone else.

I’m looking to connect with screenwriters, producers, and creatives interested in adapting real stories with emotional weight, strong female leads, and immigrant perspectives. I’m open to life rights partnerships, consulting roles, and development conversations.

Let’s tell a story that helps others see red flags, reclaim their worth, and never settle for less than they deserve.

Hi Jennifer, I may be a great match for you. I am a former Rehabilitation Counsellor for people with traumatic injuries here in Canada. I have an imdb credit you can check as I wrote and co-produced A Last Wish about dying with dignity. I have also written extensively for the healthcare sector, and have had 45 animated videos and 45 live action videos produced.

I suggest adding a profile picture of yourself. People will feel more comfortable networking and collaborating with you if they know what you look like. And if you have a picture, your profile will show up when someone searches for you. You can upload a picture by clicking the gear symbol in the top right-hand corner and selecting “Edit profile” in the drop-down menu, then clicking the red button underneath your location and choosing "Update profile picture."

You could post your true story on your profile. Producers search profiles on here for projects. Click the gear symbol in the top right-hand corner and select “Edit profile” in the drop-down menu. Scroll down to “Loglines” and click “Add/edit loglines” to the right of “Loglines.” You can also post your story on your profile this way: www.stage32.com/loglines (near the top where it says “Add a Logline”)
