Book Interviews

Hey there! I'm Kaitlin and I'm an Advertising/Public Relations student at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. I'm graduating this December and this winter I'll be publishing a book titled "The Path of a Screenwriter" that highlights the (often bumpy & unusual) career paths of screenwriters for aspiring writers.

I don't think there's anything out there for students like me who want to immerse themselves in the screenwriting world, but aren't quite sure where to start-- so that's why I've decided to write this book.

I'd love to interview anyone who's willing about their paths and their goals for the future. Feel free to send me a message if you'd like to help me out :)

That is a really good idea for a book! I believe it could help encourage a lot of writers not to give up on their dreams, and it could feature many entertaining and inspirational stories.

Great idea! I would be most interested in helping out.

screenwriting is like riding a bike. Except the bike is on fire, you're on fire, everything around you is burning and you feel like your going to hell as a poor broken soul who only got to watch and envy the success of others while hearing those voices from your past saying "you should've got a real job like your brother Mike. "

There are some negatives though.

I'd like to help, I'm writing a screenplay, I've just received industry feedback and I'm on my second draft. I'm also a literary editor and I've edited lots of scripts for members of Stage 32, so can give you lots of ideas for your book.
