I created the first Afrofantasy screenplay using the Cinderella archetype. My modern version addresses Diaspora and its impact on Black women--placing them in roles where they are unseen and unloved. Now my challenge is to get it produced. No Hollywood connections. But I understand marketing as a retired copywriter. So would appreciate ideas to breakthrough.

An Afrofantasy reworking of the Cinderella archetype, built around diaspora and the experience of being unseen, is a genuinely strong concept. Fairy tale structures work because audiences already know the shape, which means you can spend all your energy on what you're actually saying rather than on explaining the story. And a retired copywriter understanding positioning is a real advantage most writers don't have.
