Introduce Yourself : Introducing RASA Trilogy by Param Tomanec

Dear all, I am happy to share the good news about a second film in the Rasa Trilogy, entitled RASA KRIDA.

My cinema teacher is Godfrey Reggio with whom I share a certain rhythm. He was just like me a monk. We both after years of service in the monastic communities embraced cinema as a medium to commune with the soul of the audience outside the realm of words through the language of the images. We both believe that language today has lost its power to describe the world in which have to live.

Therefore we have consciously chosen to translate our words into images as images have become a new language in today's visually oriented culture. Now I work on my own translation of my language into images in the second film in my Trilogy. ALl the while learning the new language, the language of translation.,,
