Hello everyone!
My name is Christopher D. Soriano-Palma. I've been a member of Stage32 for a minute now, but I've never actually bothered to introduce myself.
I am a screenwriter, playwright, and poet. I am the author of the poetry collection "the world is burning and i'm late for work" available wherever books are sold.
As for my filmmaking journey, I am primarily a screenwriter, though I have also taken an interest in acting. My screenwriting focuses mostly on feature-length scripts, having written and polished three thus far, currently working on two more. My scripts made it far up the Coverfly rankings, which I have transfered to my Stage32 profile. I am currently without representation and non-union, though I hope to change that in the future.
I'm still at the start of my screenwriting journey. So my goal here is to connect with like-minded folks and make some magic happen. Any advice on how to get projects off the ground would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you all so much!

Hi, Christopher Soriano-Palma. It's nice to meet you. Thanks for introducing yourself to the community.
The biggest tip to get projects off the ground is network/build relationships (online and in person). It could lead to script requests, meeting requests, etc. Stage 32 has a blog that'll help you navigate the platform and connect with creatives and industry professionals all over the world (www.stage32.com/blog/how-to-successfully-navigate-the-stage-32-platform-...).
Stage 32 will be having its next live Community Open House on July 30th. It'll also help you navigate Stage 32 and connect with creatives and industry pros. There's going to be a live Q&A. You can sign up for free here (www.stage32.com/education/products/stage-32-july-community-open-house). Even if you can't make it live, sign up and you’ll get the full recording in your Stage 32 Education Library as soon as it’s available.
Congratulations on the success with your work! Stage 32 has a blog for up-and-coming screenwriters I suggest checking out: www.stage32.com/blog/the-questions-up-and-coming-screenwriters-need-to-a...
