Hi, my name is Robin, but I go by Rue. I have enjoyed writing since I was child, and was always writing in journals. I knew from very early on I always wanted to get involved in the entertainment industry, so at 35 I began doing comedy. I grew up watching Saturday night live, and always dreamed of being on stage. I have always had this idea of a story and wanted to get it out, and wrote my first script, “For the First Time”. I did a lot of research myself because I wanted this script to be perfect. I submitted it to my first film festival, New York Script Awards. However, even though I got high scores, I didn’t get in. I have high hopes with Stage 32 since so many people have recommended it. This script is about self-discovery, it’s a female driven romance film, and I can’t wait for it to be seen.
