Introduce Yourself : My life story as a struggling screenwriter by Steven Gibson

Happy Holidays everyone. I've been part of this community since August and I am a struggle screenwriter who is trying to break into the film and TV industries and continue to write my scripts everyday.

When I was a young boy I was diagnosed with Autism which makes things difficult for me, socially and have some difficulty with loud noises.

With my autism comes creativity, so while I was growing up I watch a lot of movies, TV shows and anime and cartoons, and so I think to my self, if they can make a successful show, I can make 1 too.

Soon I made accouple of scripts that I wrote. I got the idea of being a screenwriter back in high school. You see I was finished with my work in the computer lab, I decided to write some random stuff on Microsoft word. And soon I wrote a story plot for a cartoon of koalas who know martial arts. Then I wrote down the list of characters in the story, and soon I gave it a title and then I started to like the idea of story telling and soon I start to write scripts.

When I was a kid I always wanted to be an inventor, but soon I change career ideas, when I start to write scripts. While I start to write scripts I start to love it and love to continue what I do.

Right now I am currently working as a dishwasher part time and a janitor part time, but I don't want to do those jobs for the rest of my life.

As I discovered this site, I knew I found a way to break into Hollywood. I tried pitching ideas twice to some people who have connections with the studios that I want to submit my ideas too, but they both pass on those ideas. With those rejections I continue to follow my dream.

I have a lot of movie and TV show pitches I can tell you guys.

Here's 1 I am most passionate about and it's called "Crime Fighting Karate Koala Bears" and this cartoon will be perfect for Nickelodeon. And the reason why I am so passionate into writing this anime influence cartoon show, is because of the bushfires in Australia lately. Due to the bushfires comes the decline in the koala bears population, and they are coming towards extinction. I don't want to see these koalas die, and while I am writing the episodes of the series I became obsessed with this series and the koalas themselves. So when this series of mine eventually gets published, I want the money from the merchandise to be donated to Australia to help plant more trees for the koalas, and to protect the species. Anyway here is the plot for the Crime Fighting Karate Koala Bears. It centers on 5 anthropomorphic koala bear siblings who live in the outskirts of San Diego. They use their martial arts skills taught by their adoptive human mother to fight crime and villains including their mother's archenemy.

Here is a movie script that I worked on for Nickelodeon. It's called the X's and it's based on the short lived Nickelodeon cartoon of the same name, but this time its an origin story on how the spy family actually become a spy family. It's a live action movie and I hope that the Russo Brothers could direct the movie and hope that Herny Cavil and Scarlet Johansson can also star in the movie, with Jason Statham could star as the villain with Tom Cruise and Josh Gad, all we need now is to find some child actors and teen actress to play Tuesday and Truman X.

Another movie script I am working on is called Chess and its based on the board game of the same name. While I was playing the game, I thought to myself that if this could be turned into a movie. So I am writing the script for years and when I write the script, I vision the movie to star Christian Bale, Anna Hathaway, and Mel Gibson as some of the stars in the movie.

Another cartoon I was working on for years is called Taped. I got the idea of this while I am working on it. It's used to be titled called the Videostore and it was suppose to be a horror movie. Then I tweaked with it, and turned it into an action packed cartoon for either Nickelodeon or Cartoon Network. The cartoon is about this Spanish Italian American teenage boy with a magical golden video tape on his back, who uses it to fight monsters and movie characters and get them back into their movie worlds.

The other cartoon I am working on for Nickelodeon is called King of the World. And It's also an anime influence cartoon show. It's set in this world where 70% of the population have magical powers and where this teenage boy travels the world in the traveling wizard's guild to find the crown to the King of the World so he can be the new King of the World to bring peace and harmony to the planet like the first King of the World before him.

The next cartoon I am working on for Nickelodeon is called Mounties On Duty and I got the idea from watching the anime One Piece. The cartoon is about a teenage boy who drank a magical energy drink that gave him the powers of ice and electricity, now joins a global force of Mounties to fight crime all over the world.

The other cartoon that I got the idea while I was in the shower 1 night, and It's called Kitty Kat Cheer Force. It's about this teenage girl who got rejected by her high school cheer team who joins an alien force of catgirl cheerleader who protect alien life on Earth from an organization who wants to wipe them all out.

A Horror Movie franchise I am working on is called Bridezilla and it's about this china doll masked bride who goes on a murderous rampage in a wedding reception.

And those are some of the ideas I got, and being on this website could help me out. So please help me get into the film and tv industries that I want and that would be very helpful.
