Hi, My name is Sok Visal. Please call me Visal. I'm a Cambodian Producer and Director based out of Phnom Penh, Cambodia. You can check out my IMDB for my past works and experience. I'm developing a few Cambodian feature projects with the International market in mind. These feature films could also be adapted to limited mini-series for the local market. I'm interested in learning more about how the film business works in general, mostly on the International level, and I would love to meet filmmakers who are as passionate as me by Films and making films. I'm also a Line Producer servicing International Productions, so if you have any project planned to to take place in Cambodia or in South-East Asia, don't hesitate to contact me. Oh lastly, I'm also the founder of a Cambodian Hip Hop and Alternative Music Label called KlapYaHandz, if that interests anyone :-). Happy New Year, Wishing everyone here a awesome 2022!
Great to meet you, Sok Visal, and welcome to the community! Aww, thank you so much, and a Happy New Year to you as well! Oh, cool - congratulations on your feature projects and your music label! Do you make music for films as well, or just for albums?
I was looking over your profile, but you don't have much there. Maybe you could use some of this post to help build up your bio!
Based on your occupations, you should definitely check out the Producing Lounge (https://www.stage32.com/lounge/producing) and the Filmmaking Lounge (https://www.stage32.com/lounge/directing) to meet like-minded creatives!
Keep in mind that these lounges are like the VIP Filmmaker's Lounges at Film Festivals, so this is where you can meet the people doing the work, get advice on anything you're working on, and/or give back to those who may need advice. We're a very supportive and encouraging community! I think you'd also enjoy my blog post on how to get the most out of the Stage32 Community:

Enjoy exploring the lounges, and don't forget to comment and respond to others’ posts, too! It's the best way to really connect! And, of course, feel free to reach out at any time. Cheers!
