Introduce Yourself : Reintroduction by Kyle Bell

Kyle Bell

Reintroduction

Hi everyone — I’m Kyle-Reece Bell, a British actor and filmmaker based in London. I’m back on Stage 32 after a long break and currently building Sumai Pictures while developing original projects. I’m also continuing to pursue acting work across film, television, and commercial campaigns, and I’d love to connect with producers, cinematographers/DPs, directors, and other creative collaborators interested in character-driven storytelling and long-term partnerships.

Dwayne Williams 2

Hi Kyle Bell, glad you’re back. It’s great to see you building Sumai Pictures while developing work alongside your acting. Sounds like you’re moving with clear direction across both performance and production. If you’re catching back up on the platform, the next free Community Open House is a helpful way to stay updated on everything Stage 32 is offering: https://www.stage32.com/education/products/stage-32s-june-2026-community-open-house-webcast

. What kind of stories are you most focused on developing right now?

Amanda Toney

It’s great to have you here, Kyle. What are you working on lately? I thought this webinar might be of interest to you. It’s hosted by an agent who talks about getting representation in the US as a foreign actor.: https://www.stage32.com/education/products/finding-agency-representation-as-a-foreign-actor-in-the-us

Laura Hammer

Kyle Bell welcome back — building Sumai Pictures while developing original projects and continuing to pursue acting work simultaneously is a serious amount of creative momentum, and London is a brilliant base for the international collaborations that kind of ambition tends to attract.

The Writers' Room is a great place to find the producers, DPs, and directors you are looking for: https://www.stage32.com/writers-room/plans-vip

Kyle Bell

Thanks, Laura Hammer — that means a lot. I’m really looking forward to building and connecting with the right collaborators here. Appreciate the Writers’ Room recommendation too — I’ll take a look

Kyle Bell

Amanda Toney — appreciate that. At the moment I’m developing a short called Melt as a character-led proof-of-concept, alongside a few other original ideas I’m shaping for Sumai Pictures. I’m also continuing to pursue acting work, so I’m keeping both sides of the career moving. I’ll definitely check out the webinar — thanks for sending it.

Kyle Bell

Dwayne Williams 2 — appreciate that bro. I’m focused on developing a few character-driven ideas at the moment, including Melt, while building and continuing to pursue acting work. I’ll definitely check out the Open House too — thanks for pointing me to it. What you working on at the moment?

Michael Dzurak

Greetings, Kyle Bell. It's great to have you in the S32 Club.

Dwayne Williams 2

You’re welcome, Kyle Bell. Glad that helped. Melt sounds like an interesting direction, I’m looking forward to checking it out as it develops. I’m currently finishing up a few dark fantasy projects and starting a new one as well. Do you have a logline ready for Melt yet?

Ashley Renée Smith!

Hi Kyle Bell, welcome back! I’m Ashley, Head of Community here on Stage 32. It’s great to see you jumping back in, and it sounds like you’ve got some exciting momentum with Sumai Pictures and your projects.

As you rebuild connections and keep things moving forward, I’d really encourage you to stay active in the Acting Lounge (https://www.stage32.com/lounge/acting), the Filmmaking Lounge (https://www.stage32.com/lounge/directing), and the Producing Lounge (https://www.stage32.com/lounge/producing). Consistently showing up in those spaces, joining conversations, and sharing your journey can make a big difference in building the kinds of relationships that lead to opportunities.

You may also find it really helpful to reach out to our Success Team at Success@Stage32.com. If you tell them more about Melt, Sumai Pictures, and your goals, they can help guide you toward curated resources and connections that align with what you’re building.

You’re clearly focused on long-term partnerships and character-driven work. What’s the current vision behind Melt?

Kyle Bell

Dwayne Williams 2 Thank you, I really appreciate that. Your dark fantasy projects sound really interesting as well; I’d love to see what you’re building there. Melt is definitely still taking shape, but yes I do, the current logline is:

Haunted by his son’s death, a father unearths the gun he once buried and walks toward a decision that will define who he becomes next.

It’s a character-led short about grief, violence, and the choice between revenge and transformation.

Kyle Bell

Ashley Renée Smith! I really appreciate that. The current vision behind Melt is to create a character-led short that explores the private landscape of grief, masculinity, and the tension between revenge and transformation, with love as the force that interrupts that spiral and pulls a man back toward himself. Visually, I see the film moving from cold realism into warmth and fire, reflecting that emotional journey from isolation to connection.

I’ll definitely spend more time in the Acting, Directing, and Producing lounges as I keep building momentum around the project and Sumai Pictures.

Kyle Bell

Ashley Renée Smith! Also, thank you for the suggestion about reaching out to the Success Team. I really appreciate that and I’ll be doing that as I continue building Melt and Sumai Pictures.
