Introduce Yourself : Screenplay Writer by Robert Cyr

Hello to everyone on Stage 32,

My name is Robert Cyr and I’m a screenplay writer and Navy Veteran from and living in New York

Writing has become a second career for me since retiring from the private sector in 2018. I’ve been a member of Stage 32 for little more than one year. So, my apologies for it taking this long to introduce myself. Sometimes a writing project keeps me on focus without deviation. But I decided today’s the to come out from under my rock and say hi.

As a screenplay writer I have written over a dozen feature length and short subject scripts. To my credit, I have one short that was produced and filmed in Atlanta. Networking in Atlanta has been incredible and it has led me in doing many podcasts and radio shows. Networking is the key whether it be here on Stage 32 or wherever you have an opportunity to meet people in your genre. To those screenplay writers out there let me recommend “Final Draft”. This script writing program has helped me tremendously because it pre-formats the script.
