Question for Producers

Dear Producers,

I apologize — I’m a screenwriter, and I understand this might not be the right group for my question. Still, I wanted to reach out and ask:

Are you currently looking for screenwriters who can write full scripts?

On my profile, in the Loglines section, you’ll find a number of loglines and synopses for feature films and TV series across different genres. Some of these projects already have scripts written, and some do not — yet. But I can honestly say that I see the full arc of each idea from beginning to end, and I’m confident in my ability to craft strong, compelling screenplays based on your needs and feedback.

If this kind of collaboration interests you, I’d truly appreciate hearing from you.

Thank you!

Producers assume anyone they ask for info can write full scripts. Otherwise the query letter and script is trashed. They are always looking for the next MATRIX. But there are gatekeepers who are asked to read them first. Just like with job seekers' bios. Most are trashed. There are millions of full feature scripts floating around. It will now be untold millions due to AI.

You can't stop AI production of both films and scripts. It is a river that is going to crowd out a lot of talent. By volume. IMHOP.

Thanks to AI, the world will soon be flooded with even more scripts just floating around.

But here’s the thing: in order for AI to write a script, it still needs input parameters.

And if a person doesn’t understand what a script is supposed to be — the theme, the idea, how characters are developed, how the setting works — then the AI will only generate an artificial world filled with cardboard characters and surface-level storytelling.

So yes, AI will certainly disrupt things in some ways. But I wouldn’t say it will replace people.

I believe it’s the job of producers to look deeper — to evaluate a person’s vision, their understanding of storytelling, characters, and the craft of screenwriting.

Only then can you judge whether someone is capable of writing a truly great script.
