FREEDOM FACTS:
I was thinking this morning if I had invested $$$ in every film festival, production class, how to succeed, script writing books and online classes, video's, etc. available in the entertainment industry it would have been enough money to pay full tuition to attend and complete law school at Harvard or Yale.
I've done what I could on a limited budget to promote and advance Freedom and get it to where it is today. My journey began when I left Freedom in 2009. I immediately began to write the book (which took over a year). The first edition of the book Freedom was published in 2010 and immediately won an award for best fiction in a national indie book writing contest. That win inspired me to consider the story good enough for a film. I shelved the movie idea for a couple years and around 2015 began writing my first draft of the screenplay Freedom. The award-winning script has evolved over the last few years.
I've assembled a fantastic Freedom Dream Team, developed an amazing social media following, attracted the attention of many "big" players in the game, and feel that Freedom is finally ready for production. I learned at a young age that money talks and bull shit walks. I've been introduced to, involved with, and passed on many deceptive players along the way. Life lessons have been valuable. I know now when to play my hand and when to fold my cards.
So, as we wait for the "right" investors to fall in love with the Freedom story, I want you to know... THERE IS NO QUIT. Every day I press forward and count on God to open the right doors. It will happen, unfortunately, I just can't say WHEN. Keep the prayers coming. Freedom is a story that needs to be told.
