Another cool and unexpected way that a sequel developed - check out the Screenplay paragraph under Evan Almighty - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Evan_Almighty

I know these are older pieces of info, but I bet a few people will enjoy reading them. Unexpected things happen sometimes! But I wouldn't advise making them your business model!

Especially the newbies to the site, like moi. Thanks so much, Regina!

Major kudos to Gary Graham! Deadline could have referred to him as "Columbia Film School Grad"...or "Dedicated Dues-Paying Writer of a Dozen Scripts"....or "Guy With Global Film Club", though. I follow him on Twitter...he's a really insightful and profound guy who loves cinema, screenwriting and life. Here's some condensed comments of his from Scott Meyers: http://gointothestory.blcklst.com/2015/08/twitter-rant-gary-graham-on-so...

Everyone should take hope from this that good work will win in the end. The studios liked the work so much that they found a vehicle to get it to market, package it as "I am legend 2". I take from this 'nothing is dead'. That is an excuse we make when our work doesn't sell. Spec sale and a new 'big budget' zombie movie. All things we are told are dead. Proof quality will always sell.
