Out of I think around 20,000 entries my script Seaside was a finalist in the Big Break 1-hour TV pilot competition. 10 finalists. And I lost category win. So close. :) But in the immortal word of Arny "I'll be back!"
Congratulations on Seaside being a finalist, Jim Peacock! I’m a Stage 32 Lounge Moderator. I wanted to let you know I moved your post from the Screenwriting Lounge to the Your Stage Lounge. The Your Stage Lounge is a space where members can share updates on projects. If your update mentions a service you used on Stage 32, it's an update for a Stage 32 event, your post starts a conversation that’s helpful/educational to the community (like giving advice or asking a question), or you're asking for feedback on something, you can put it in one of the discipline Lounges. Let me know if you have any questions.
Agree with my tocayo, Mr. Clarke. You did not lose. Down to ten finalist out of an enormous field... that counts oodles in both industry points and psychic well-being that assures you know what you're doing when your fingers strike the keyboard. Make a laurel and post the crap out of it. Well done!!!
