Rebecca Gismondi is the Toronto-based manager of development for Vortex Media, managing their made-for-TV and feature film slates. She has experience pitching and developing content for platforms such as Hallmark, UPTv, Lifetime, Tubi, and Netflix.
During her time at Vortex, she has served as the development consultant on movies such as Operation Nutcracker (Hallmark), My Sister’s Double Life (Lifetime), and The Voices of Our Mother (IFC/Shudder). Vortex Media is a boutique production company that internally develops, produces, and self-finances a diverse slate of features and made-for-TV movies.
