I must be missing something, as my writer's room home page shows only these things. The Vault, Private Forum,. Settings, The Breakdown Webcast. The Pitch Tank Webcast, Executive Hour Webcast, Executive Hour Webcast, and prepare your bio for screenwriting fellowships. Below that is subscription ID, and then your general inks to advertising, contact, etc. Nothing at all about open writing assignments.
I did get to it through the contest link you posted in your answer. My guess is that I didn't realize it was a contest. Thus the VIP benefit on contests link.
