I'm not sure templates are the best solution for screenwriting since the formatting for these is fairly complex and it's essential to have a system that can handle insertion of edits and new scenes or cuts without having to fix each subsequent page. You might want to look at several of the format software programs out there that deal with these issues: Final Draft, Celtx, Movie Magic Screenwriter, etc.

Thanks Richard. I tried Celtx a ridiculous program. It just adds a lot of spaces and tabs to the text. One can never reformat using Celtx.
No, I work on Linux. I love to create my own templates. I like to be in control ;)
