Christina.. I was involved in producing a very successful meetup for S32 members a little over a year ago which was held at 32Ten Studios (formerly ILM) here in Marin. It became very clear that the event must be actively promoted, have a space able to handle up to 75 people, refreshments provided (small entry fee), have adequate parking, a guest speaker and scheduled far in advance. Personally, my focus is Transmedia now, and there are few in this community who seem to acknowledge this format, hence my lack of motivation to produce another event. Those 60 or 70 members that attended the last one all seemed to benefit and enjoyed being in the Lucas Screening room at 32Ten for sure!
