I had to put a note up about Adam Shepard of Anima Sola. He works with Will Scheffer and his husband Marc V. Olsen and they are responsible for the amazing HBO show "Getting On" as well as much, much more. Adam was so open and receptive during my virtual pitch with him. He made it easy for me to have fun and laugh. It was so much fun. He asked also the kind of questions that made it clear he was truly listening and engaged. Really so important when taking a meeting to feel you're being heard and I was heard with him. Great experience and I can't wait to pitch with him again soon! And if you haven't seen it, check out "Getting On." It's an unreal show. I mean...unreal.

I'd like to add on to this post because of Adam Shepard. I just got three pitch responses back from him and even though he passed on all three he explained exactly why and gave me tips on how to improve them. It was incredibly constructive. Adam reminds me that there really are good, thoughtful people working in Hollywood.
