I grew up near Memphis, Tennessee in a small town known as Brownsville. Because I came from place that lacked an arts culture, I quickly became addicted to film and the theatre. I was lucky enough to have parents that were supportive of my acting from a young age.
I started out by doing plays in a local church, and I found myself loving every second on stage. I made my way into high school looking forward to the drama classes, and soon, I found myself performing in every play produced by the theatre department. In the midst of high school, I spent several months on acting training with John Robert Powers in Memphis. From there, my interest continued to bloom.
Now I attend Tennessee Technological University in Cookeville, Tennessee (just an hour outside of Nashville, and only a few hours away from Atlanta). I am currently majoring in dramatic arts, and I couldn't be happier! I'm getting some writing done on the side, but I am mainly attempting to hone my acting ability and technique, as well as improving my comprehension of the theatre and film as much as I can. I know that this is the path I want to take for the rest of my life, and I am working hard to get to where I want to be!
