Max Bogner

A screenwriter who's an actor and an actor who's a screenwriter. (If I could dance, I'd be a double-and-a-half threat.) The two compliment each other nicely. The actor part of me sees the world through the lens of an instrument of illusion with the sole mission of telling a story. The writer part, writes it out through the eyes of an actor — all emotion. I'm also a designer, painter, inventor (hold a U.S. Patent) and lifelong student of…life. I'm a graduate of UCLA's Professional Program in Screenwriting. To date, I've written 3 screenplays and a pilot.

On the acting side: on TV, I am: Phil, the Green Grocer alongside David Bowie and Tilda Swinton in the late Mr. Bowie's music video "The Stars (Are Out Tonight)"; President of the Board in General Hospital; Mary Steenburgen's hot date in "Curb Your Enthusiasm"; Professor Xavier in the parody: "Mad X-Men"(http://youtu.be/UOAt0v8Hp0Y); Dr. Lewis in horror feature film "Utero"; Head Chef in the sitcom pilot: "Sunny Side Up!" Feature film-wise, I am: Preacher Jenkins in "Hickok"; the Undertaker in "The Outsider". Theatre-wise: I'm a company member of Theatre 40 of Beverly Hills. And, I'm Lloyd, the face of the Hotel Manager of "Escape Hotel, Hollywood".

On the design side: I've done a lot of logos and posters and title treatments, many for the studios in Hollywood, but many more for major corporations around the world.
