Bright forever | Lee Arnold

Short film writen for the London 48 hour Sci-Fi short film comp. We were given the title of Bright Forever, the prop and action of 2 AA batteries going into a device and then being turned on and off and the dialog "What we've got here is an error of communication" to use and had to have our film writen, shot and edited in 48 hours. We used the story of Eve, who has developed bio technology to control humans and strip them of certain character traits. She is being confronted by Jade who has been stripped of her ability to lie and is after revenge. It's interesting how the script differed from what we were actually able to film but I think the time pressure helped us make a better story. Let me know what you think!
