"georgia - 8th wonder of the world" | Jennifer Koridze

This is a new program dedicated to the history of Georgia in the fashion of a musical. In an hour and a half, the story takes you through the political and cultural history of the country in a most intricate and alluring performance of continuous dance with accompanying music and songs and intermittent, active narration. It depicts the resilient spirit and nature of the country which remains intact despite its numerous threats and invasions of the past, and even of today. The show is much in the spectacular style of "Riverdance" with its ancient cultural base brought out in a modern setting. We plan to include a running program description in English, much as is utilized for operatic productions, for the audiences' ease in understanding both what is said and depicted in the story.
