Video Pitch of my feature film spec. NEVERLAND

NEVERLAND – Film Synopsis From its chilling opening - a small child deliberately drowned on a windswept shore, the tone of Neverland is set: dark, violent, and unrelenting. The scene shifts to the glitzy yet sordid heart of Los Angeles nightlife, where glamour and decay coexist. Nestled between the neon glare of the city and its gritty urban sprawl lies Neverland, an infamous and extravagant nightclub owned by the enigmatic and controversial Peter Pennypacker. A string of gruesome murders, dubbed the “Lost Boys” case, draws the attention of LAPD’s relentless one-armed commander, Captain James Hooke. As the hard-boiled detective delves deeper, it becomes clear that his pursuit of Peter is more than a matter of law and order; it is personal. Their shared history is scarred by betrayal, loss, and a twisted family connection that binds them in mutual obsession. Hooke’s investigation is a deadly game of cat and mouse, complicated by Peter’s most dangerous secret; his supernatural “shadow,” a merciless wraith that annihilates anyone threatening its master. Each step closer to the truth brings Hooke face-to-face with mortal danger, and twice, with death itself. By the close of the second act Hooke is on the brink of victory, only to have it snatched away at the last moment. All seems lost until the final act forces both hunter and hunted into one last, brutal confrontation. Long-buried truths erupt, the stakes climb to life-or-death, and the lines between justice, vengeance, and survival blur beyond recognition. When the gun smoke clears and the blood dries, only one will stand, and in the dark heart of Neverland, victory may come at a price too high to bear.
