"Only connect." - E.M. Forster

Hello Creative Community of Stage 32, Having just returned from a great time at the Seattle Shorts Film Festival as part of the award winning lovely film The Father, I'm inspired and ready to embark on a new creative endeavor! I'm an LA based actress with classical theatrical training. I'm a graduate of the Pacific Conservatory of Performing Arts Professional Actors training program, and hold a BFA in Acting from the College of Santa Fe, NM. After spending several years working in regional theatre in California, Colorado, and Chicago I moved to Los Angeles for more film, tv, commercial and voice over opportunities. Since landing in LA, I've had the good fortune to study with some amazing teachers, including Judith Weston (directors, if you don't know her, pick up her books immediately if not sooner!), David Dean Botrell, Risa Bramon Garcia, and most recently with Gary Perez, who teaches an incredible camera craft class here and in NY. I'm ready to dive into a creative process. Nothing is more satisfying to me than connecting, being in the moment, and finding what is universally compelling through exploring the very personal and specific. From Shakespeare and musical theatre, to modern comedy, improv and drama, I've worked in every genre and truly enjoy it all. You can check out my recently updated demo reel on this site, and can see more pics and clips on imdb. The demo includes recent projects such as the Investigation Discovery mini series Heartbreakers, short film The Father and A Dog's Life. Wishing you all the best in your creative life! Let's connect if you have a project we can collaborate on. Jenna

Hi Jenna. I could have sworn that I saw The Father at some festival, but after a quick research I see I'm confusing it with something - yet still you look extremely familiar. Are you one of the HeadshotTruck clients?

Amanda Toney

So great to have you in this community, Jenna! I fully support you jumping back in and getting as creative as possible! Here's a great article to spark some more inspiration: http://bit.ly/1xOcFcd Best of luck to you and I loo forward to future discussions with you in the lounge :)

Hi Tomasz. I haven't shot with HeadshotTruck. Maybe our paths have crossed somewhere else? I was also in a Cascade commercial that ran for several months last year. Perhaps that's why I look familiar. :)

Jenna Macari

Tomasz, my husband Patrick Ney is a comedian. Maybe we've seen each other at gigs about town.

Tomasz Mieczkowski

Now, that's clean! And that's probably it. Congrats! I don't do many gigs, but I definitely saw Patrick before - I remember the "Abercrombie" and the "mail ordered bride" routines.

good memory!
